Email Not Being Sent for Ticket Number

When people submit tickets the email doesnt send but it says it sent. HELP!

I had a similar issue i could net send new ticket notification to other domain than my local domain

I host my mail in the same server as osticket

I solve the issue modifying php.ini modifing parametes in

; For Win32 only.

SMTP = localhost

smtp_port = 25

username = support@Yourdomain.com

password = password

; For Win32 only.

sendmail_from = support@yourdomain.com

Well, gigiburk's solution is only if you are running your web server on Windows operating system. But, if you are running your web server on Linux operating system, you can use an alternative way by using SMTP. I recommend you to use SMTP because, mostly, this usually always works fine, moreover if your mail server is on the different machine with your web server.

Please do search through this forum by entering keyword SMTP, then you will find the solution.
