Payment Module?

Hi,

I apoogise if this is in the incorrect section, I will be happy to move it if it is.

Basically, what I am looking for is a mod or something similar that will allow me to use osticket as it is currently, but to add payment.

In otherwords the client must pay a certain amount (paypal preferably) in order to have their question posted.

Does anyone know of anything that is around like this?

I'm interested in this too... Wish someone would help with a response if this is available or not. If not, what would it take to implement this feature. For me, I would add the payment module should be configurable to allow when a payment is required to work a ticket. For example, I may want anyone to open a ticket with out payment first but before it moves to a certain stage payment is requested from user and should be posted. Would appreciate any comments on this.

i have had thoughts of this also but i just decided that if i wanted to go that way i could just use the paypal button script and post it in the index.php someplace... im guessing your talking about something internal and a actual mod written and not just the paypal button on the page...

durangod, thanks for your comments... You right, I'm looking more for a module to manage processing of payments to work a ticket. Using paypal can and should be an option to doing that. But, the payment module should handle stuff like when to "flag or tag" a ticket requiring payment and proper notification of when payments are due or have been paid. I suppose a shopping cart like feature can be considered for the payment process. Any other feedback would be appreciated.

Pay before you Create a Ticket

Hi,

I need this module as well. People must pay through Google Checkout or Paypal before they create a Ticket. A Specific amount for each Problem/hour.

I dont mind paying reasonable amount for this module.

Looking for this too

I'm looking for something like this to. Would like the option of the payment after.

I.e,

1. Someone opens a ticket for work to be done

2. Updates are done in the ticket system

3. Ticket is moved to the billing department where a cost can by applied.

4. Payment can be updated manually / PayPal and or other payment gateways (export to QuickBooks receivables would be a nice).
