POP3 E-Mail Fetch

Hi,

I have searched this forum extensively but didn't find an answer to my problem.

POP3 fetch only works when I log in as admin and go to the POP3 settings page and press submit.

I have auto cron enabled and pop3 fetch.

I also tried to run cron on the server via a Scheduled Task (running on IIS) however when invoked I get an email back from the system saying:

Unknown remote host

Ideally i'd like to use auto-cron, but it just wont seem to work for me?

did you ever get to the bottom of this? i have identical issue.....works fine when using the system, but nothing automatic when logged out.

Hi i've also got a problem with the email fetch function.

When i go to Admin Panel -> Emails and set up the settings for POP3 and SMTp and then klick submit the page goes blank in the searchbar it says "http://lala.domain.se/scp/admin.php?t=email&id=1" and i've let it sit there for a while but nothing happens....first time installing OSticket so i'm no pro.

Also got an issue with special characters "åöä"

Oh and also even without smtp server the mails are sent out supposing i dont need smtp but would be nice to have mailfetch when the cutomer replies..:
