Attachment Directory

I allowed attachments in the folder http://www.lakesregiondigital.com/attachments(http://www.lakesregiondigital.com/attachments)

Everything works fine, but you are able to view this folder if you type that URL.

Anyway to block that folder from the public If that URL is typed?

i would also be interested in how to prevent that the attachment folder (which has obviously to chmod777) isn't accessable from outside

I know this is an old post, but I came across it so I thought I'd reply. I would recommend placing a blank page named "index.html" in the directory. This way if anyone browses to it they will receive a blank page.
