osTicket Running under Joomla
Hi.
I don't know if this issue has been solved yet, but I got to thinking, and so I did exactly what my skills advised me to do.
I am no developer, but all I did was load the upload files into a directory in my domain, (called it "support") and vwalla.
The next step after the whole installation process was to go into Joomla and make a new menu. (Again Called it "Support")
In the menu settings, I used the Wrapper feature...
directed the url to http://mydomain.co.za/support(http://mydomain.co.za/support)
This is how it is integrated into my site.
No payment was needed. All you need now, is some CSS skills and you are set.
I find this is working fine for me.
Joomla has a specific OS Ticket in their extensions.joomla.org directory, however I won't pay for something if it can be done for free...
Just use the wrapper, and remember to set the parameters to automatically stretch the page.
If you know CSS you are set.
Remember to keep the wrapper and OS Ticket on it's own page, don't let modules be on the same page, as it tends to show up a scroll bar at the bottom...
