£ Symbol Kills Ticket

Hello,

I am running your open source ticket software on my reverse auction website. However, when ever anyone inputs a ticket and uses the '£' (british pound) symbol within the ticket, it seems to cut off the rest of their message.

Has anyone else had this issue and could please advise how to resolve it? Thanks for your help & support.

What version osTicket are you using, what's your MySQL version and what browser are you using?

I just tried this in FireFox 3 and osTicket 1.6 RC4 and added '£' to a ticket and it worked fine.

I'm running the same version and having the same problem.

I want to use osT for brazilian clients, portuguese speakers, and everytime one writes á, ã, or ç, for example, the text line gets cut.

If I use latin1, the symbols are replaced with a question mark. Using utf8, the text line is cut.

Any updates on this one?
