INSERT command denied to user

I am doing a fresh install of RC4, I receive this error message

You have an error in your SQL syntax INSERT INTO ost_config SET isonline=1, updated=NOW()

As stated on the site, I granted CREATE, DROP and ALTER tables to the username

Can someone help?

The issue can be caused by MySQL when in strict mode which is common with windows installations.

Also some users who experienced this problem said that "CREATE, DROP and ALTER" is not enough and that it worked when giving full access.

You might want to try that.
