I'll apologize in advance if i'm just too blind to have found this already, but after an hour of reading and searching this forum and the wiki (all very educational ) I thought I'd stop and ask...
Can you 'send' emails from more than one email address? Every reference i've seen to an SMTP configuration has been a script-looking reference with a single address. While I think i'm capable of installing this, it would be enough of a stretch that I wanted an answer to that before I invest in the attempt at install and configuration.
Basically, I want to use it as an email management tool for multiple client groups, with each client group using a branded service@customdomainname.org address. If I can't have the 'from' be the same as the 'to' domain, I can't use this system.
I need tickets addressed to support@yourdomain.com to get replies form support@yourdomain.com, and tickets to support@thatdomain.com to get replies from support@thatdomain.com and so on...
Does that make sense?
