POP3 Error

Good morning Forum.

I apologize if this has been covered before, but surfing the forums (and google) I have yet to find anyone with the solution to my problem.

First, let me fill you in on the system and it's current state:

OS: Fedora Core 5

Kernel: 2.6.17-1.2187

PHP 5.1.6

Apache 2.2.2

This is the setup on the machine that runs osTicket. This machine also hosts the webmail ,that uses IMAP to the mailserver, which is working fine.

The mailserver is a postfix server, with dovecot as the POP3/IMAP connection manager. I have enabled all the settings that the forums have told me to (auto cron on staff activity etc), so that should all be in place. When I logg in as a staff member, I get this in the connection log:

Obviously, it's connecting to the POP3 server. The problem, is that there is new email in the account, but osTicket does not fetch it. Could anyone give me any pointers on what might be causing this?

I read something about encryption might be blocking it, but as far as I know, I haven't enabled any kind of encryption or certificates. Is there any way I can verify this, to be 100% sure?

Hope someone has a hinter.

I wonder if Osticket is able to cope with whatever UIDL format you are using.
