Problem with some words

Hello to all.

I have installed OsTicket to my site.

My general language, and the language of my customer are italian.

So the italian language have characters like: ò, à, è, ù, ì...

If i and my customer wrote this characters the ticket are fully invisible.

An example of the problem.

Try and try to try è because summer.

Effect:

How can i resolve this?

Table Options ?

I am not sure whether this was caused by the Character Set that used by the table. Have you checked the Character set belongs to the table? Try to change to the suitable options that support with that character.

I've changed all database in utf8-bin and all works fine now.

I have the same problem but in the e-mail replys. How do I change the character set and what database are you talking about?

Utf

You need to change each tables characterset.

You need access to the table using MySQLQueryBrowser or the PHP equivalent. The Character set of the ost_ticket_* and ost_email_* tables needs to be changed.

Problems only with premade replies

Hello,

I've configure everything in osticket and mysql, all characters are being showed properly (e-mails, replies, etc) except for the premade replies.

I mean, when editing the premade reply it shows correctly, but when selecting the premade reply on the ticket reply section I'm getting the character '?' when it should apear á, é, ó, ç, and etc. It also cuts some part of the text after the special characters.

For example, when I right:

Olá. Você e eu somos legais.

It shows on the reply area:

Ol? oc? eu somo legais.

Do you know what is happening?

I'm using utf8-bin already, and have tried with latin1_general_ci (with this worked great except for e-mail fetching).
