We are currently considering osTicket as Trouble Ticket system for our IT Department. I wonder if there is any plans, or anyone has modified the system to be able to input an asset tag number so it can be cross-referenced with the inventory system. We don't need osTicket to be an Asset System just be able to cross-reference so we can have users input the computer/server/device when a ticket is created so our Help Desk can determine exactly which machine we are dealing with. They can then vnc in and work with the user on determining fixes etc.
