mpdf directory after print or d/l

This directory is created in /tmp printing and downloading document works fine, but it does not clean itself up, removing the mpdf directory, I know why it creates it, but it should remove it after it does what it needs to.

Precisely, it should by design. Maybe you are having permission issues or maybe you need to add the directory to PHP’s open_basedir setting? Worse case scenario if you can’t figure out why then you can always create your own temp directory the webserver/php-fpm user has full access to then update the code to use that instead of system temp directory.

open base isnt a problem, else it wouldnt be writing to it in the first place. the server doesnt use fpm, it uses mod php, we found more permission errors and resolution time wasting when using fpm, and benchmarks show its no faster on our hardware so we stick with what we know best 🙂 i guess /tmp/mpdf/ creartes more than ttffont directory? it must do its thing so fast we cant catch anything else under mpdf/ if it does, then it removes that but not the ttffont directory ( or similar named, I'm not in front of it right now)

You’d have to look at the internals of mPDF for that information. We pass it a temp dir path (using PHP provided sys_get_temp_dir()) and it handles the rest.
