That typically means the username/password is incorrect against the hostname/port you provided. Double check with your email provider/management team.

This is a google workspace account and i have tried using the email password to sign in to a browser and it worked. but not working for the OS ticket.
I believe app passwords are no longer accepted but I could be wrong. If I were you I’d ensure I’m on v1.18.3, install the latest OAuth2 plugin, and set up Modern Authentication.
