Is it still possible to update v1.12.2 or similar up to v1.18.* directly?
What are the upgrading checklist for this?

Of course, you can still upgrade all the way from 1.6 ST which was released circa 2006-2008. Just use the normal upgrade procedure:

That’s migrating from another software. You can upgrade any osTicket version to the latest. The upgrade steps are listed on the pages linked.
