Open SSL Issue

Hi,
Im new to the forum and this is my first question, kindly help!
I have installed osTicket v1.18.3. I want to setup SMTP (outlook) with osTicket. For that openssl should be installed. I installed openssl and it is reflecting on the instance and osTicket folder as well. But working for me. Below I'm sharing few screen shots for reference. Members I need your help in resolving this issue.

Server configuration is:
OS: ubuntu 24
Server: Apache2
PHP: 8.4
MySQL: 8.0

What exactly is your issue? It simply appears as though you haven't configured SMTP yet.

yes, SMTP is not configured yet. I'm trying to configure the SMTP but not getting option to select SMTP in outgoing email.

My issue is that, I want to configure outlook email in osTicket. I'm not getting SMTP option to select in outgoing email and don't want to use php mail function. How to enable SMTP for sending emails from osTicket

You need to first add the desired email as a system email (Admin Panel > Emails > Emails > Add New Email). Then you must go to the email and its Outgoing (SMTP) tab to configure the SMTP. Once configured and enabled you'll see the address available for Default MTA, Default System Email, etc.

I referred https://docs.osticket.com/en/latest/Admin/Emails/Emails.html link for email setup and getting following error.

I've created a separate application in azure account for this and using that account key and secret here. But not working. Please help me what wrong I'm doing.

For one it looks like you didn't update the two endpoints (Authorization and Token endpoints). Secondly, it looks like you haven't gone through the full authorization yet as you don't have the Token tab next to the IdP Config tab. When you successfully authorize the email the IdP (Microsoft) will kick you back to osTicket with a success banner. Then when you click on Config again you should see a new tab called Token that displays the current token information.
