Hello everyone,
I am currently using osTicket version 1.17.7 and I have a situation where one of our departments has around 5000 open tickets, some of them several months old.
I would like to know if there is a way to close these tickets in bulk while automatically sending a response to the customers informing them that their ticket has been closed.
The idea would be for the message to explain that the ticket is being closed as part of a system cleanup process, and that if they still require assistance they should open a new ticket using our current support contact channel.
Is there any built-in feature, recommended procedure, plugin, or script that would allow this to be done safely and efficiently?
