Not available currently. You can create a status called "On Hold" but it will be of state Open, Closed, or Resolved. It is on our feature request list for possible future development. There is no guarantee this will be implemented but it's on our request list for review/consideration. We are revisiting all feature requests after v2.0 is established and stable.
There is no "timescale" on new releases. Legacy (current codebase) is in Maintenance Mode, meaning development cycles have dramatically reduced to only required updates. This allows us to fully focus on v2.0 (full codebase rewrite). We have some big exciting news on v2.0 coming up VERY soon, so stay tuned!
