Uncaught DateMalformedStringException in open.php

Hi!
When i open a ticket, i get an HTTP 500 error, and in apache there is the following error entry:

PHP Fatal error:  Uncaught DateMalformedStringException: DateTime::modify(): Failed to parse time string (Gennaio 1 2025) at position 0 (G) : The timezone could not be found in the database in /var/www/html/include/class.schedule.php:802\nStack trace:\n#0 /var/www/html/include/class.schedule.php(802): DateTime->modify()\n#1 /var/www/html/include/class.schedule.php  on line 802, referer: https://sub.example.tld/open.php

I'm using a localized italian version, with installed language pack, and i'm using the latest 1.18.2 version.
I've read several threads about thi problem, and i've already deleted the USA Holydays schedule.
I'm a bit out of options.

Post a screenshot of Admin Panel > Dashboard > Information.
What do you mean by I'm using a localized italian version...? Do you mean you installed vanilla osTicket from our website then installed a language pack on top? Or are you saying you are using a package that someone in the community made that has Italian localizations built-in? This is very important to determine now so we don't go down the wrong rabbit hole.

For question 1:

While, for question 2, yes, it's a normal release, with installed the italian language pack version 173869, for version v1.18 (as per information page).

Did you have a previous version that you upgraded from? It sounds like an issue we’ve already fixed in 1.17.x and subsequently included in 1.18.x. How this can creep back up is by upgrading the codebase via copy/paste and it either didn’t fully replace all files or maybe some failed, etc. I would recommend saving your include/ost-config.php file somewhere, removing all code files from your site folder, downloading a fresh instance of v1.18.2 + any installed plugins + any desired language packs, adding them to the server, adding your config file back, restarting Apache and PHP-FPM, and retesting.

It's a fresh installation, on a new debain VM... Never done any update on it...

Also, just so we can be clear, you installed in English then added Italian after installation, right? Did you add your own custom schedule or make any modifications to existing schedules?

Here the section of the file:

I've installed the english version, then installed the language pack.
I've tried with the default schedules, but i got the error. I've found on the support forum that deleting the default schedule resolved in some cases the problem, so i've created my own schedule and delete the default one.
Please note, i've installed a localized version of debian, maybe that's the cause?

Maybe, you never know. I've never used a localized version of any OS so I'm not sure if that affects this or not. Can you try on English OS just to see?

Can you show screenshots of your entries in the _schedule and _schedule_entry tables?

Hi!
I've set the language of the OS to en_US UTF8, but the problem persist.
But the error is "Failed to parse time string (Gennaio 1 2026)", that isn't the current date, must be something stored in the tables.
