Hi, I am on 1.18.2 and am having a specific issue with registering an account. So the tokens work fine using the ticket links and existing user logins. A new user can also register directly using the Create an account link from Sign In on the home page. However, if you follow these steps the account creation fails:
- Open a ticket as a guest
- Use the ticket link in the email
- Click the register an account link just below the "Looking for your other tickets?" message
- Fill out info and register an account
- Use the account confirmation link from that email
However, once that email is used, instead of the standard account verified page it take you back to the blank (all fields empty) account creation page and will leave you in a continuous loop of filling that out. Logging in via the sign up page will also leave you in a loop, if you fill in the correct login info it will take you right back to the login page. The only way to get it to work at this point I've found is to either clear the cache at this point and then go to the login screen from the home page or clear the cache before you use the account confirmation link and then the regular account confirmation link will work. You can also use another browser or private tab to login.
I tried changing the user session timeout to different values such as 30 to see if that was the issue, to no success. I also tried reverting the patch found in https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket/pull/6766/commits/416b548bd812188fec62c89fe8bfb0a3128731a1 from another forum post (I wasn't sure if that issue was related) but it did not work either. I've attached our user setting, let me know if you need any other info.
