Dear support team,
My osTicket system is sending emails correctly to both users and agents using the default email address. However, I am constantly receiving the following mailer errors in the dashboard:
Unable to email via SMTP: [alerts@x.com](mailto:alerts@x.com) (tls://smtp.office365.com:587/SMTP) SMTP AUTH is required for message submission on port 587
Unable to email via SMTP: [alerts@x.com](mailto:alerts@x.com) (tls://smtp.office365.com:587/SMTP) Cannot issue HELO to existing session
The mailbox is hosted on Exchange Online. MFA is enabled, and I tested using an app password, but the errors continued. I also tried disabling MFA and using the standard password, but I still received the same mailer errors. (Using Basic Authentication (Legacy)
I also tried no authentication same thing.
Is there anything I might be missing or additional configuration required on the Exchange side or within osTicket?
