Does anyone know the easy way of setting a new ticket to a different color (eg red) instead of simply bold text in tickets/open view (ie upload/scp/tickets.php)

I'm not sure that anyone really develops mods for 1.6 anymore. I dont even have a 1.6 installation anymore to go and look and try to figure it out for you. My best guess would be that you would locate what makes it bold (probably in the file include/staff/tickets.inc.php) and add a color change. Keep in mind that this change will go away once you upgrade. And considering how old 1.6 is... you should really upgrade.
Apologies simply stuck in the wrong area as we are on 1.7. I simply grep'ed the dirs for and hit lucky with adding etc in and works fine thanks.
