We have database storage by default and we offer two plugins for external file storage: Filesystem and S3. With the filesystem it can store files on the given path; although it must be on the local filesystem (does support mounted/virtual drives). With the S3 plugin you can store files in an S3 compatible bucket. There are no other file storage options at this time. We are working on expanding the capabilities in v2.0 so stay tuned!
