I have a very specific problem, I might not know about some settings, or I might have structured my osTicket in a bad way. I want to know that is there any state that can be set on Agents or Departments to not show them in the dropdown menus where we can assign them one way or the other.
For example
_I have Agents A, B, C, D and many, many more. I have Departments X, Y, Z and many more. Some of the agents are part of those Departments.
All departments except for X, Y, Z are not needed anymore and all agents except for A, B, C, D all left the company. But we do not want to delete none of those objects from osTicket. So we put all other agents in Locked, all not needed Departments in Disabled state.
I want to add Agent A to Dep X. If I go into the admin settings->Departments->Department X->Access page and want to add a new agent, the drop down menu will show all those disabled agents in the list. And I have to find Agent A in a long process.
And if we do some similar from the Agent's side, like we want to add Dep Z to Agent B we go admin settings->Agents->Agent B->Access and we would see all those disabled departments. And it would also be a bit hard to find Dep Z. _
Is there any setting with I can hide from the dropdown menus those agents and departments? Or is this something that no one needs? 😃
