Dynamic Fields in Forms

Why are the Type Dynamic Fields hard-coded in the Form Fields? I want to add a Dynamic Field in Forms without having to write custom code in the /include/class.forms.php which will easily be overwritten during an upgrade.

Admin Panel -> Manage -> Forms -> Ticket Details -> Form Fields -> Type -> Dynamic Field

Because we only built a handful of fields to support. You can add any number of custom fields to any form so long as they are of the types we provide. They cover a good bit of field types. Really just super niche fields are missing which are going to be improved upon in v2.0.

What field types are you missing? Maybe you can accomplish you needed type with a built in type?

KevinTheJedi I would like to have Teams field type. Currently, the available field types are Priority Level, Department, and Assignee.

Assignee includes the Teams.

Not really. Imagine that you have 5 football teams: Chelsea, Barcelona, Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool. Each of these teams has individual players. I want to display the names of the teams, not the individual players in the teams.
I have written the code, and if it's okay with your team, I can contribute to the project.

Yea it lists the Agents but if you scroll the list you’ll see the teams listed below.

That’s great you modified the code to fit your needs however the current codebase is in maintenance mode whilst we focus on v2.0. This means we are not accepting changes at this time. So if you submit changes they will not be accepted.
