SMTP error

Hi everyone,
Recently, I configured osTicket v1.18.1 and added all the required plugins. While the incoming mail (IMAP) service is working fine, the SMTP (outgoing) mail service is not functioning. I've double-checked my settings, but emails are still not being sent.
Has anyone encountered this issue before? Any guidance on resolving this would be greatly appreciated!

It’s an order of operations thing. You have to set the Status to Disable, set the Hostname and Port, set Authentication to None, Save Changes, then go configure auth, then set Status to Enable, and Save Changes.

Thank you for your support. I have successfully resolved the previous issue. However, I am now facing an authentication error during SMTP configuration.
Incoming emails are working fine, and I have used the same authentication setup for outgoing emails, but they are not functioning properly. Kindly assist me in troubleshooting and resolving

The error is pretty clear: authentication not enabled. This means the host name and port you are using doesn’t allow authentication. Or maybe the user account has Authenticated SMTP disabled. I would first check the port number as you are more than likely attempting to use the relay port instead of authenticated smtp port. So try using 587 or 465 as the port and retest.
