Inline images in thread not displaying

Hi,

Inline images not showing in thread after upgrading to 1.18.2, even in 'vanilla' mode same. when sending out e-mails from ticket images shows correctly, So it's onlin Inline.
Filesystem attachements are via plugin and followed these instructions exactlty: https://docs.osticket.com/en/latest/Plugins/Attachments%20on%20the%20Filesystem.html

I'm guessin a file persmission issue because when I upload an image in ticket thread i received this error message
(root)/osattach/j/jpdJGLZm4Fw6XbkC55Bi70eg-SYlG8wA: Unable to read from file

osattach is my filesystem folder. I already did a full 777 on al (sub)folders, (i know not good idea) but i can't seem to get this working. please assistance needed what am I missing

You need to ensure the correct user/group is configured for the files/folders. Typically if you're using PHP-FPM you'd want the webserver user to be the FPM user. When in doubt look at guides online specific to your server/setup. You also need to ensure proper file permissions/ownership on all files and folders. You also need to look at all the other logs on the server to see if maybe there is something like SELinux blocking it, etc. Sometimes even PHP's open.basedir can restrict this and even TMP folder issues can affect this. There is just so much it can be that we'd be blind unless we had more relevant errors.
