Best way to remove email syntax restrictions in osTicket

Hello! My OSTicket version is v1.18.1 (0375576)

I'm looking for a way to remove the restrictions for adding emails to agents.

The email I want to use is something along the lines of: tickets-bruce-c8654756796-87657fa-4856556-b73767-06045345a76eeebbbe620@email.domain.tld

However osTicket gives an error saying "Invalid email address"

Is the best way to go into the source code and modify the checker?

Disable email verification (Admin Panel > Emails > Settings > Verify Email Addresses). When enabled it performs a DNS lookup, etc. to confirm the domain exists. You should be able to disable it and retry.
