Agent password reset mails are not being received

I have set a working SMTP server for a Email
I have set this working SMTP configuration as the default MTA for outbound Email.
I can successfully send out emails in the Diagnostic tab.
When i do a tcpdump on eth0 and lo, i see no connections to postfix
There are no messages in postfix journals

osticket version: v1.18.2 (53339df)
PHP: 8.2.28
No activated plugins
No installed languages

I have read pretty much every forumpost and issue here. Somehow it starts working magically for everyone around, but no solutions are provided.

What can i do to test this?

Please post screenshots of Admin Panel > Dashboard > Information, Admin Panel > Emails > Settings, and your SMTP settings.

Default MTA is the MTA i know works in

MTA selected above:

When i use the above MTA in Emails->Diagnostic, i do receive emails, so there is no password issue or anything.
