I tried to report this as a bug (Issue #6832) but was informed that it was not a bug and I should approach the forum for assistance.
The issuse I am facing is when trying to configure for OAuth 2, I went to the account profile page to enable authentication with a microsoft account but when trying to save it reports an invalid email address is detected. It does not like an email address in the .aero domain
Using latest version downloaded from osticket website, and installed it. Set everything up using our domain (ending .aero) and began trying to set up Microsoft authentication. At this point I went to my account profile in order to change the 2FA settings, but at the point of validation it says my email address is not valid.
Underneath the email field comes the text in red "Valid email is required"
A valid (redacted) email address would be of the form:
a.user@****.aero
I believe this to be a bug, but apparently others believe it is not. How do I either fix the system to allow use of the .aero domain, or how do I convince the developers that this actually is a bug?
