Slack or Rocket.Chat notification plugin for osTicket v1.18.2

Hi everyone,

I'm currently using osTicket v1.18.2, and I would like to send ticket notifications to Slack or Rocket.Chat instead of email.

I found a couple of webhook-based plugins on GitHub, but they seem outdated:

Slack plugin was last updated 3 years ago for v1.10.1

Rocket.Chat plugin hasn’t been updated in about 10 years (v1.8)

Does anyone know of a working plugin or method that supports Slack or Rocket.Chat notifications for recent osTicket versions?

Rocket.Chat is preferred, but I’m open to either.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Natively we don't have any 3rd party integrations. This is something we are focusing on for v2.0.

With this being said, in Slack you can setup an email that you can send stuff to to port into a channel, etc. Once you have that email you can create an Agent with the email and then set that Agent to receive the needed alerts. Once that email receives the alerts they should be ported into a specific channel, etc.

As far as RocketChat goes I've never used it so I have no clue.
