Okay, so two things:

  1. You need to upgrade to v1.18.2. You simply download the version from our website, upload it to the server, unzip it, copy all the files in the unpacked upload/ folder, and replace all the files in your current osTicket site folder with those files. Then you download and replace any currently installed plugins with the latest releases.
  2. The error you are getting with OAuth2 is explained in the Attention notice at the top of this page.

Cheers.

    1. The upgrader doesn’t need running when doing minor upgrades; only on major upgrades like 1.17.x to 1.18.x.
    2. For the 500 error that means something is crashing and you need to check all possible logs (general server logs, webserver error logs, PHP error logs, MySQL/MariaDB error logs, osTicket System Logs, Browser Console logs, etc.) for any related errors.

    Cheers.

ramy-cs85 It looks like the update isn't being detected. You need to clear cache and refreshing the upgrade page. Also, check if your instance has internet access and verify the update repository settings. Further, manual download can also be one of the solutions!

That will not help in this case as I've mentioned above in point #1 that the upgrader simply will not run when doing a minor upgrade. You simply replace the code files with the latest files and voila you're all set.

      Cheers.
