Good afternoon!

I’m having an issue with the Ticket template. I previously had an older version (attached screenshot), where when creating a ticket, it would first ask for the department and then show the help topics based on the selected department. In this recent version, I can’t seem to modify the ticket template to function the way it did in the previous version. In this version of OSTicket 18, it only asks for the help topic and doesn’t even indicate which department it corresponds to.

From the ticket template modification section, I don’t see an option to change this dynamic. How can I do this?

    It sounds like you previously had a modification applied to the codebase. Since you upgraded the modification was likely overwritten (removed). You will need to modify the codebase to accomplish what you are looking for. When modifying the codebase you are always on your own as you are deviating from core. We cannot and will not assist with codebase modifications. The code is open source and publicly available on Github. You will proceed at your own risk. Good luck!
