How to merge 1.7 into my 1.8 ? both working

Hello, we merged 2 companies and coincidentally we both use osticket, I 1.8 and the other 1.7,
Are there any possibilities of doing a merge or migrate to bring users and tickets from 1.7 to my current 1.8?

Any freelancer to do that job for me?

There is no way to merge two installs together without going through a whole custom import script to deduplicate IDs, etc. and you’d also have to update related records, fields, etc. and deduplicate their IDs, blah blah blah. It’s a complete nightmare (I know from experience) but it can be done. We no longer offer that service at this time as we are focusing on v2.0 and I know of no one who provides this service. You’d be embarking on this endeavor on your own. One thing I can leave you with is the database ERDs that show the table relations:

With this being said you can export your user list from your old install and import it into your new install you’d just have to make sure all the fields match, etc.
