When I select the department, the help topic doesn't appear as shown in the image. This issue doesn't occur in all browsers; sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Then, if I intentionally select Create (leaving the help topic empty), an error appears saying the help topic must be filled in. After that, the help topic options reappear.

Please provide a solution.

    1. You are using an old, unsupported version of osTicket.
    2. You are using a heavily modified version of osTicket.

    With the above information we cannot assist you any further.

    I will say we do not have dependent forms and fields in core osTicket so what you are talking about actually does not exist and must be the result of a modification. You will need to reach out to the modder directly for further assistance. In core osTicket the Help Topic is always the first thing to select and does not depend on department selection.
