Unable to send mail to outlook

Good morning, I have a problem with sending mail.
Every time a comment is created or added to a ticket, I get that error in the osticket logs.

The mail settings are as follows:

I'm using OAuth2, on the mail server I have SMTP and POP enabled in the configured email account.

I may need to configure xampp/php.ini with SMTP server settings? E.J: smtp-mail.outlook.com port:587

As you can see in the screenshots I have SMTP and POP disabled for the moment.

Exactly, since SMTP is disabled it’s attempting to use PHPMail/Sendmail on the server as a last resort but that’s failing as well. Once you enable SMTP it will start sending mail through SMTP which should pass.

Set the SMTP email's name in osTicket to something without special characters.

I tried setting up mail without the . But I keep getting the same error.

And you’re certain you are sending it through SMTP? Can you verify by email headers?

Also, are you using v1.17.5 or v1.18.1?

Solve the problem by updating to 1.17.5

But now I have some users who can access it and some who can't, all configured by LDAP. I have reviewed the _STAFF DB but they are all configured correctly.

You would have to check your error logs and AD logs to see if it’s making a connection attempt, auth attempt, etc.

I have reviewed logs from Osticket, AD... I don't see any kind of error. It's quite frustrating that in the previous osticket version everything works for me except SMTP, I go to version 1.17.5 and now SMTP works but it seems that some LDAP users don't work.
I don't know where else to check...

You can try these and see:

You say you see no errors but do you see a connection attempt or even an auth attempt in AD for said users when they attempt to login?
