I accidently deleted a newly added LDAP user. Now I'm unable to find that user in the Add User dialog box when I search in the 'Search user by email, phone or name' input field which is populated from LDAP. What could be the issue?

Can you find other users? Was the user deleted from LDAP?
Cheers.
Yes, I'm able to find other users. And no, the user was deleted from osTicket and not from LDAP as that user is able to login to his system so his account on LDAP is very much active.
Checked the _user and _user_* tables in database for any lingering records.
Checked _user, _user__cdata, _user_account and _user_email tables. No such records found of the deleted user.
What can I do next?
Can you confirm the lookup request is making it to AD? You can look at the connection logs, etc. in AD and see if it’s reaching the server, has the correct search string, etc.
Requests are going to AD as I'm able to add and authenticate other users except this one user which I'm unable to add. When I type the username, the dropdown lists other users similar to the typed characters but not the actual user.
When you say that you accidentally deleted a user... can you tell us how you deleted them?
By selecting the user and then clickingon 'Delete' from 'More' menu as seen below. This was done in the Agent Panel.
No, it doesn’t make sense. Make a lookup request for the user and make sure it’s reaching AD. If so then check the request going to AD to make sure the search string is correct, etc.
Any updates on this?
