cannot Authenticate upgrade

I just upgraded to 1.18.1 and breifly saw the Upgrade screen. When I login to run the upgrade I end up at an "Authorization Required" screen, but it won't take my credentials.

I did opt in to use 2FA but I haven't installed the plug in. If that matters.
Also there is nothing significant in my database that would prevent me from starting from scratch.

Do you have any authentication plugins installed before? Did you actually configure and enable 2FA within your Agent Profile? Did you also update the prerequisites for v1.18.1 (PHP 8.1-8.2 with extensions and MySQL 8.0+ - or MariaDB equivalent)? Do you see any errors in any of the logs in the server or within the _syslog table in the database?

Yes, I just set it up as a new service. I didn't have enough ticket history to really worry about it.
