osTickete Application Crashing with HTTP ERROR 500 After Plugin Installation

Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue with my application. After downloading and installing a plugin, the application crashes and I encounter the following error:

This page isn’t working
192.168.0.3 is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500

I have tried the following troubleshooting steps:

Checked server logs for detailed error messages.
Verified file and directory permissions.
Reviewed PHP configuration settings.
Ensured that all application prerequisites are met.
Attempted to rename the newly added plugin directory. it got fixed but again after installing got the same error
Despite these efforts, the issue persists. Any guidance on how to resolve this or additional troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.

What plugin are you attempting to install exactly? Meaning, is it a core plugin from our website or is it a 3rd party one? Is the plugin that you are attempting to install made for the osTicket core version you are running? Plugins are now version specific since 1.17.x.

500 errors are generic and point you to a deeper issue on the server. You should find the actual error in one of the various logs on the server (apache error logs, php error logs, php-fpm error logs, etc.).
