Yes, setup and use SMTP. Keep in mind that the mail server has to allow a copy to be saved on the server. Some mail provides don’t for some reason but most like google, ms, etc. do.

I have configured SMTP and IMAP but emails are not saved on the server in "sent". For example, in other mailboxes with IMAP and SMTP, sent messages are saved in "sent" - messages sent via Outlook
That’s a mail provider issue; not an osTicket issue. Please reach out to your hosting provider for further assistance.
