Help changing domain subdirectory

Hey everyone,

Newbie here with some knowledge of apache and linux.

I am hosting osTicket on Ubuntu which is hosted on AWS Lightsail. My domain is working and osTicket is working fine. However I am trying to change the location of osTicket from http://example.com to http://example.com/support. Here is what I have done, so far.

Changed the config file /etc/apache2/sites-available/osticket.conf
Change the helpdesk URL to http://example.com/support in the admin panel
Confirmed that changes took effect in MariaDB

Per the picture in 1. osTicket is installed in /var/www/html/osticket/

I have tried to play with the file/folder naming and the paths, I also made numerous changes to the osticket.conf file
but I wasn't successful.

Any help is much appreciated.

You should have all the code in /var/www/html/support/ and you should be good. Be sure to update the DocumentRoot directive.

You can also use an alias apparently:

Thank for the quick reply. I followed your advice and there seems to be some progress, but I am still missing something.
My conf file look like this now

But when I try to open osTicket at http://example.com/support I get the following

And when I open the upload folder I actually get to osTicket, but then the URL looks like this

UPDATE.

I got it working I had to move the contents of

/var/www/html/support/upload/

/var/www/html/support/
