We use OSTicket internally to track jobs so tickets are raised against different users but they are always created / raised by an agent. Is it possible to automatically populate the "assigned to" field on a new ticket with the interactive agent user when a ticket is created?

    You can enable the option Admin Panel > Settings > Tickets > Claim on Response. This way when the Agent creates the Ticket and adds a reply (during or after creation) it will automatically claim the Ticket (ie. Assign the Ticket) for the Agent.
