Email Fetch Setting

I use Linux cron to download emails in OSTicket. For this to work, I have checked both the indicated checkboxes.

My Cron file command looks like this:
*/5 * * * * root php /var/www/html/OST/api/cron.php

Is this correct?

Uncheck auto-cron. If you have both checkboxes enabled there is potential for duplicate tickets, etc. If you have cron job setup you need the Enable checkbox only.

Cron command looks good however each server and setup is different. I’d suggest running the actual command part via command line to see if it’s working.
