Username Email Variable

i am currently trying to create an email template to email agents.
i already have the users name and email but their username is different.
i cannot seem to find a variable for the username of the ticket submitter.
%{ticket.username} does not seem to work.

We do not have a username variable at this time. Feature Requests are made on Github. You should search through existing Issues to see if someone has already requested the feature. If not, you can create a new Feature Request. If you want this functionality sooner rather than later you'd need to customize the codebase. When customizing the codebase you are always on your own as you are deviating from core. You will proceed at your own risk. Good luck!
