Hello, is there a plugin or a mod to change automatically ticket status based on customer or staff reply? I checked everiwhere but seems there is no way.

There are no core features nor any core plugins that offer this functionality. Agents can always change the status below the Reply box so they can Reply and change the Status in one go. However, for Users it's not automatic unless the Ticket is Closed (with a status that allows reopen) and a User sends a new message which will automatically reopen the Ticket.

I know but I need status change after customer reply. In this way it's easy to see how to manage requests.
What I described above is how our system works. If you need different/additional functionality you will need to modify the codebase. When modifying the codebase you are always on your own as you are deviating from core. By doing so you are proceeding at your own risk. Good luck!
