Hello,
If I insert a customer login link in any template and save and reopen the template, the link changes from "%{recipient.ticket_link}" to "%%7Brecipient.ticket_link%7D"

That's expected and we account for that within the codebase. There is nothing wrong here.

So the link still works and can be accessed?
Why is this behavior desired? (What is the reason for this?)

I simply addressed the concern of the HTML special characters for the {} characters after saving.

As far as the video goes, we do not click on links to go to 3rd party sites so, no, I did not see it. If you have an issue please provide as much detail as possible in your OP. You can upload any screenshots directly to this forum.

Okay, so the desired behavior is that if I create a ticket access link in a ticket response template for the customer, then after saving the link is broken.

Again, that's okay; the string gets encoded with htmlspecialchars(). We account for both %{/} and %%7B/%7D in our code so that is totally fine and will produce the needed link.

my query is in relation to the link.

when the email notification is sent and the collaborator accesses the link, the collaborator ends up to "XXXX/view.php?id=XX". My problems is that, when the collaborator signs in, he/she still does not see the ticket.

Is it possible to change the link to "XXXX/tickets.php?id=XX"?
When using tickets.php, the collaborator actually sees the ticket.

No, when CCs are on a ticket there are not auth links sent out. Reason being is on email is sent to the user and CCs so if an auth link is sent the CCs could masquerade as the User which is no good.

If I’m misunderstanding please further elaborate.

The problem is that in practice, view.php doesnt work on my end but tickets.php does.
even if im already logged in, view.php does not work. I still need to click on tickets tab and click the ticket name to view the history/details.

Then you need to look into why view.php doesn’t work. You need to create your own thread with your own system details, a clear definition of the issue, steps to replicate, etc.
