I can't get SMTP to work with username and password on a local server

I have installed OSTicket version 1.18.1 on my Linux server at DigitalOcean.
All good, except I can't get it to send emails.
My server runs a mail server also within itself, so using another PHP application, I set it, for example:

Server: localhost
Port: 25
Username: abc
Password: 123

And it sends emails without problem.

However, I want to set the same in OsTicket in the corresponding section, but I get an error of "5.5.1 Error: authentication not enabled".

What I can do? I have tried using the Authentication option: None, and the email tries to leave my server, but it blocks because the credentials need to be entered.
I will appreciate your help.

Port 25 is a relay port that doesn’t require authentication. You simply need to set the Authentication to None and Save Changes.

KevinTheJedi HI, But if I do not enter the username and password, the mail server does not send the email. And the destinations (according to the postfix logs) reject it for "Spam".

Then check your mail server logs for a reason for the failure. The error you posted before said that authentication is not enabled on the given host and port.

They block port 25.
Maybe call DigitalOcean and ask them?
