login OSTicket for Agent and Admin

hello everyone, I'm new to using osticket.

I want to log in using an existing database, so I want to log in using the API. is there a way to set up a login API into an existing database into the OSticket database? Please help

ntoion I mean the database is for logging in only, for the name and position only want to read. However, to make tickets, use the app from Osticket,

What is your Authentication Provider? We support HTTPassthru (Apache SSO, etc.), LDAP, and OAuth2 as external authentication methods. If your provider doesn't support any of these methods then you cannot do so.

no, i mean i have already table or directory for login, only want to read name and password to login. i am use my own auth methods. (maybe only name and login in own db)

if there HTTPpassthru API from OSticket is the solution, how to put my script to login ?

the menu only have this, where i can put my script to do login ?

No, you would need to write your own authentication plugin for that. We don't have guides on making plugins so you'll be on your own with that. You can look at existing Authentication plugins to see how they work. Below is the OAuth2 plugin (although it's quite complicated):
