My malware scanner detected malicious files in ost_attachments. How to prevent this?

    Best thing you can do is do what you are doing and delete said files with issues as they arise. We don't have malware scanners or anything in osTicket. You control what types of files are allowed, etc. via system settings. Our software is not responsible for scanning and preventing malware.

    Can you guide me on where I can control what types of files are allowed in System Settings? I can't seem to find it.

      The settings for the Issue Details Field are under Admin Panel > Settings > Tickets > Ticket Attachment Settings > Config. If you have a custom File Upload Field the settings would be under Admin Panel > Manage > Forms. From here you will click the Form with the Custom File Upload Field on it and then click Config next to the File Upload Field.
