File system attachments not available in settings

I deleted and reinstalled the plugin for saving attachments on the file system. Now the setting is not available.

Here is the system info;

and when I try to open the plugin, the Configuration does not load.

Check your PHP/webserver error logs for any related errors. There are likely lingering records in the db for the deleted Plugin that you now need to manually remove. Check the _plugin_instance table and the _config table and delete any lingering records referencing the old Plugin.

Once complete and you are able to click on the Plugin successfully you must then add/configure/enable a Plugin Instance. Once you enable both the Instance and Plugin you should be good to go. If you have an existing location for attachments on the filesystem just use the same path and it should pick up the old attachments as well.

Thank you for your fast response. No luck. I even deleted again, then checked the database tables.

The _plugin_instance table is empty

I did not find any Values or keys with the entry attachments in the _config table. (my folder for attached files is named attachments.)

Yes, that’s fine as once you configure a new Instance it will reference the new Plugin ID. You need to check your PHP/webserver error logs to see what’s going on.

I did notice that each time I install the plugin, the id number goes up in the _plugin table,

There were no errors in the log. I restored the database from a known good version, so I'm able to download attachments again. I still do not have a Instance configuration page.

Is there a procedure for upgrading the attachments on file system plugin?

Ahhh I see you have custom mods as "Work Order Types" does not exist in core osTicket. You may be missing some mods which is causing issues. Nothing loading on that page should be logging an error somewhere. You need to do a phpinfo() file in your site directory to see where the true error log for that site is. You can also check your webserver logs.

Another thing you can do, and don’t do this during production hours, is edit your bootstrap.php file and set both display_errors and display_startup_errors to 1 and reload the page. That should throw the errors on screen.
