Dear Team,

I have installed osTicket v1.7.1 . I got an error on page displaying Valid CSRF Token Required when trying to access/update features in admin panel.

OS is Windows 8 and I tried in IE, Chrome & Firefox and could observe the same issue .

I require help to overcome this issue.

Thanks & Regards,

Lenin

Valid CSRF Token Required

Hi All,

I am having the same problem reported by Lenin.

Specs:

OS: Ubuntu 12.04

PHP: PHP 5.3.10-1ubuntu3.8 with Suhosin-Patch (cli)

My SQL version: 5.5.32-0ubuntu0.12.04.1 (Ubuntu)

I have reviewed the other posts in the "troubleshooting" category as well and I have downloaded the most recent zip but the problem still persists. I will be happy to grant remote access through a VPN if you want to inspect the environment.

Attaching screenshots for your review:

I also have the same problem

But in my case the machine is installed windows XP with Xampp 1.8.2

PHP: 5.4.16

mysql 5.5.32

tried both with

firefox 23.01

Explorer 10

I have the same issue.

Background:

Debian 64bit Squeeze, ISPConfig 3 Control Panel, Apache2, PHP 5.3.X.X

I use the following for my system:

/osticket-new - folder where all the new goodies are

/osticket-old - folder where the last working version of osticket is stored

/support - soft link ( ln -s osticket-new support )

Now this worked fine up until the latest "patch" - 1.7.1.1 - so 1.7.1 works fine.

Upon installing 1.7.1.1 it comes up with the same error as everyone else is having or it just gets stuck on the login page.

Talk about frustrating. Anyway 1.7.1 works fine for me as of now. Try a downgrade guys.

Same here, where can we get 1.7.0? I need a downgrade...

Thanks in advanced Devs for what you do! It is greatly appreciated!

jimmyeao,

I've made the 1.7ST archive available here:

http://tmib.net/files/osTicket-1.7.0.zip(http://tmib.net/files/osTicket-1.7.0.zip)

Don't know what the ST version means, but here is a link for the one I used and it worked.

However please note I still am having issues with the customer support landing page not displaying properly...

ST means "Stable" where as RC stands for "Release Candidate".

Latest Git is the fix

Hi All,

I have been working with dev on the git bug tracking page and the latest clone of osTicket has allowed me to install the software without the dreaded csrf problem. I just wanted to provide an update to the forum.

It is always best practice to create a back up before doing the upgrade.
